Ah, golf is a fickle game.
Yesterday, as I stood over a putt on the 12th hole at Butter Brook, I was 100% convinced that I was going to shoot even par -- or better. Everything was clicking. It had been a virtually perfect round up to that point.
But all good things do come to an end.

The New Irons
The last post about my round at TPC Boston was actually my first with my new set of irons, which I realized I haven't blogged about yet. So, without further ado, here's What's In My Bag (blatantly stolen from Golf Digest):
The TPC Experience
Two years ago I joined the TOUR of Greater Boston for 2 things: to have the opportunity to play some tournament golf, and to hopefully play some courses that I wouldn't normally have a chance to play. A few weeks ago the second of those two goals really paid off when I played the TPC Boston course, site of the Deutsche Bank Championship. It was, in a word, awesome. Let's go through the day step-by-step.
